IN-Box OUT-Box Authors = students @ Ma IDM Ravensborne:
Amy Chan, Jim Wood, Nadia Khan, Zoe Papadopoulou, Steven Cullen, Julieta Leveratto, Jon Cambeul, Sonia Boonphen.

The visitor is presented with a small cardboard box that has a screen at the base of it. Hidden inside are a a microphone, camera and speaker . At the bottom of the box a small video image of a space with people in it can be seen, accompanied by a squeaky sound.

Next to the small box is a larger-than-life sized second box which can be entered. Inside, projected overhead, is an image of people looking into the box, with a low pitched soundtrack. What becomes apparent is that the video and sounds in each box feeds from the other box. When someone looks into the smaller box, a viewer in the larger box can see it, and vice versa. The sound is also exchanged between boxes, and processed to be more representative of the space it is in.
